    Wejherowo
Wejherowo is a town in the northern part of the Pomorze Province (Województwo Pomorskie) and one the biggest towns in the Kaszuby region. It became the seat of the District Council on the l st January, 1999.

The town is situated in a valley of Reda and Łeba rivers in the midst of forested hills. The location of Wejherowo makes everybody marvel at the view of the town where history, modernity and nature blend in with each other.

The population of Wejherowo is 47 000. The town occupies the area of 2564 hectares; the total forest land is 1 220 hectares.

The location of Wejherowo in the vicinity of Gdynia, Sopot and Gdańsk (Trójmiasto) as well as by the main Gdańsk-Szczecin road (E28) offers good conditions for further development of the town.

Wejherowo is suitably linked with Gdynia, Sopot and Gdańsk by fast suburban railway line (SKM) as well as two-lane motorway which forms the Trójmiasto ring road.

Wejherowo is only 25 km away from the ferry harbour in Gdynia which services the seaborne traffic with Scandinavian countries and 40 km away from Rębiechowo international airport.

Wejherowo is also a good starting point for seashore resorts, as Karwia, Dębki, Białogóra and the Hel Peninsula.
